UK SHIPPING CRISIS DOES NOT STOP SENATRANS POLSKA FROM EXPANDING ITS DAILY ROUTES TO ENGLAND

England is experiencing a logistics crisis of enormous proportions. Stocks in shops and warehouses have plummeted to their lowest levels since 1983. The main reason for this is an estimated shortage of 100,000 lorry drivers in the UK, which are needed to move goods and materials. This is partly because 14,000 EU drivers left the country after Brexit, and only 600 returned.

Britain’s supply chain crisis is serious: supermarket shelves are empty. Fast food restaurants are withdrawing smoothies and bottled drinks from their menus. Restaurants are forced to close due to food supply shortages. Around 70,000 pigs are stuck in farms because of the inability to transport and process them.

If the crisis continues there could be empty shelves in supermarkets in the coming months, which is especially worrying in the run-up to Christmas, and companies would start to be heavily affected by the lack of supplies.

A difficult situation that requires availability and flexibility. Features that have always been Senatrans Polska’s strength.

“We connect Britain to the continent. The Brexit has not changed our plans. It has prompted us to strengthen the routes to and from the UK and today, thanks to our fleet and network, we are able to guarantee express deliveries to the UK from all over Europe and operate daily departures from our HUBs. To support our import and export business we also offer services to assist our customers’ supply chain and provide an efficient transit point, cargo handling and storage service.”
